CA-3-A035198001 2026-04-09T10:20:42 This project contributes to the Haitian Ministry of Education’s Back-to-School program. The project provides tuition waivers for 35,000 school children and school kits (backpacks, uniforms, books, and pencils) to an additional 35,000 children. It also includes clearing debris from sites and building 13 schools in three provinces most affected by the earthquake. The schools are being built to withstand future hurricanes and earthquakes and are equipped with several classrooms, furniture, educational equipment, sanitary facilities, administrative offices, running water, and electricity. They comply with hurricane- and earthquake-resistant standards.
