CA-3-D003755001 2026-05-15T06:32:54 This project supports the Protection Standby Capacity Project (ProCap) and the Gender Standby Capacity Project (GenCap) which seek to respond to priority gaps and needs in emergency protection and gender expertise by humanitarian actors. With DFATD’s support, ProCap is strengthening emergency protection response through the deployment of members of a core team of senior protection officers, as well as inter-agency training workshops, practitioner exchange and development, and dissemination of the ProCap protection tools. GenCap is strengthening gender expertise through the recruitment and deployment of senior gender mainstreaming and gender-based violence experts to humanitarian situations, and by providing training and conducting lessons learned exercises on gender equality for international and national humanitarian staff and partners.
