Current estimates are that some 2 million Somalis (roughly 25% of the population) now require some form of humanitarian assistance. Canadian support to this World Vision project is helping to provide an estimated 145,000 displaced and conflict-affected people with access to basic medical care, adequate safe water and proper sanitation services.
