The project will address the severe water and sanitation needs of conflict-affected communities by installing or rehabilitating water points and latrines, as well as providing internally displaced persons and host communities with jerry cans, water filters and hygiene kits. To ease the food insecurity situation among the most vulnerable, cash grants and goats/sheep will be provided to female-headed households, and conditional cash grants will be provided to farmers and vendors to restock seeds, tools and livestock.
