CA-3-P009890001 2026-04-20T06:32:50 The project proposes to address the barriers that penalize the development of women's entrepreneurship in Bolivia. It facilitates access for women entrepreneurs, including Indigenous women, to support services for women entrepreneurs. The aim is to strengthen their management, financial and digital skills. To do this, they must have access to financial and digital products and services adapted to their needs. The project aims to mitigate gender inequalities experienced by female entrepreneurs, including a high proportion of Indigenous women. It also aims to support them in reviving their economic activities affected by COVID-19. Results achieved as of March 2025 include: (1) supported 160 women to acquire more in-depth knowledge to develop their businesses; (2) enabled more than 75 women to benefit from the financial education (FE) program to advance their financial knowledge, skills, and behaviors; (3) 395 people (women entrepreneurs and their families) demonstrated a high level of awareness of gender and environmental issues; and (4) 160 women completed the leadership and management capacity-building program for women-led businesses.
