The Fund aims to improve the environment and well-being of vulnerable populations, especially women in emerging markets. Project activities include mobilizing private sector capital to finance impactful clean energy companies, commercial and industrial solar projects, agri-businesses, and smallholder farmers. The Fund finances over 100 projects to benefit 10 million people, including 50% women, while also demonstrating the potential to mobilize capital at scale to help drive the sector toward long-term sustainable financing.
