CA-3-P011816001 2026-07-12T06:32:49 May 2022 – In complex emergencies, humanitarian actors – including donors – face significant challenges, gathering data from multiple sources and using it effectively in a coordinated, timely and comprehensive fashion. Needs assessments rely heavily on the analysis conducted by partners such as IMPACT Initiatives. By improving the quality of these assessments, humanitarian decision-makers can make decisions informed by higher quality information. With GAC’s support, this project aims to bolster the availability and quality of multi-sectoral data and its analysis. Project activities include: (1) conducting multi-sectoral humanitarian needs assessments; and (2) developing inter-sectoral analytical frameworks, methodologies and tools to augment the quality of data informing humanitarian decision makers.
