This partnership aims to transition to a low-carbon economy and strengthen resilience to climate change. Project activities include: (1) reviewing the existing public programs to improve access to quality services for people affected by climate-induced shocks; (2) re-designing programs to effectively support local economic diversification and skills training for workers; (3) supporting government officials to enhance their skills for managing the socio-economic impacts of climate change and transition to low-carbon economy; and (4) facilitating community participation in the Just Energy Transition.
