The fund aims to help developing countries achieve the 23 Kunming-Montreal global biodiversity framework targets by halting and reversing biodiversity loss globally by 2030. The Global environment facility administers the fund and supports developing countries with biodiversity-related planning, policy, governance, and financing approaches.
