Populations face insecurity, malnutrition, and limited access to clean water and adequate sanitation. Also, hunger, displacement and conflict increase the risk of sexual and gender-based violence, especially for the most vulnerable With Global Affairs Canada (GAC)’s support, Médecins du Monde provides a multi-sectoral response targeting an estimated 50 000 IDPs affected by conflict in Nyemba, Kalemie and Nyunzu in the province of Tanganyika.
