This project acts as a mechanism to support and strengthen knowledge and analysis of relevant development issues, key program priorities, and development needs and strategies in coordination and collaboration with current and potential partners.

Expected results

Although initiatives such as these serve as important mechanisms to support the effective delivery of Canada's development assistance, no direct development outcomes are attributable to them.

Results achieved

The project developed skills STI treatment of health care providers who attended training. Increased skill levels of health care workers who received training on syndromic treatment of STIs were verified by the field supervision visits carried out by WHO and MoPH.
