Description and results
Description
The Evaluation of the Micronutrient Initiative (MI) project consisted of an assessment of the effectiveness of the MI’s programs, governance structures, and planning and programme delivery methods. The evaluation will assess the Micronutrient Initiative's achievement of results in relation to the goals agreed upon; the efficiency of the resources invested in relation to programming impact; the relevance of the results to the beneficiaries and to the needs and priorities of the country and region; and, to what degree the results achieved will be sustainable. In addition, the evaluation will provide analysis of local ownership, harmonization and alignment of programming with country priorities, appropriateness of program design and resource allocation.
