Description 

Policies, strategies, and business plans are the unglamorous but essential foundations of development projects. The Participatory Development Initiative supports training and research that enhance the ability of CIDA's Egypt Desk to develop and put into effect policies and strategic plans appropriate to the evolving situation in Egypt. Key areas of interest are education; basic human needs; gender equality; human rights, democracy and good governance; child protection; and environmental conservation.
