Description 

This project aims to improve Canada’s support for the informal economy sector. It also monitors initiatives in Senegal, via technical support provided by a Canadian cooperant.

Results achieved 

Results achieved as of the end of project (March 2014) include: (1) development of a concept paper on rural entrepreneurship; (2) planning of agricultural and economic development projects; and (3) development of a strategy that analyzes opportunities and constraints in the agriculture sector. These results are contributing to building knowledge to improve Senegal’s informal economy.
