Description 

This project aims to provide Cameroon’s Group of the National Gendarmerie (GPIGN), the rapid intervention unit of the Cameroonian Gendarmerie national, with the protective equipment necessary to engage in counter-terrorism operations that fall under their mandate and skillset. Project activity includes providing the GPIGN with 250 to 400 sets of protective equipment that includes helmets, body armour and plate carriers.

Expected results 

The expected result of this project is the improved prevention and response to terrorism by Cameroon’s GPIGN units in a manner that is keeping with international norms and standards by increasing their preparedness in hazardous operations.
