Description

A central principle of the Good Humanitarian Donorship Initiative is funding according to needs. However, at the operational level, donors are faced with analyses based on different measures of needs and different contextual analyses, which makes it difficult to reach objective decisions about prioritization. Development Initiatives is a proven leader in research, analysis and reporting on the flow of aid and humanitarian funding. The Global Humanitarian Data Access Project helps improve humanitarian response by providing donors with a more comprehensive and comparable set of data. Ultimately, the initiative leads to better humanitarian outcomes for people affected by or vulnerable to disasters.
