Description

Yemen is experiencing a humanitarian emergency. Structural and acute challenges are compounded by the food, fuel and financial crisis, leaving many households trapped in poverty and hunger. Conflict in the north and civil unrest and refugee influxes in the south affect the delivery of social services. With CIDA support, the World Food Programme (WFP) aims to improve the food security and nutritional status of the most vulnerable households through general food distributions for 54,000 households and supplementary feeding for 242,000 beneficiaries.
