Description 

This project provides the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) funding to monitor and verify Iran’s implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Canada is the top national donor among the 32 countries funding the IAEA’s monitoring activities in Iran.

Expected results 

The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) constrained ability for Iran to develop nuclear weapons; and (2) information gathered on Iran’s implementation of the JCPOA for inclusion in periodic IAEA Director General reports to the IAEA Board of Governors.
