Description 

The External Evaluation of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank will provide Global Affairs Canada and the Canadian Foodgrains Bank with an assessment of the overall effectiveness, efficiency, and relevance of the long term institutional support provided between 2016 and 2020. Evaluation findings will inform considerations for the potential renewal of the long-term institutional support of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank humanitarian programming.

Expected results 

This evaluation will help strengthen the Canadian Foodgrains Bank's humanitarian assistance for the benefit of crisis-affected populations. This result will be achieved, in part, by providing an assessment of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank performance and value added in addressing humanitarian needs and by identifying strengths and weaknesses of its programming.
