Description 

This project aims to strengthen Jordan's capacity to detect and prevent illicit trafficking of nuclear or radiological materials at an airport facility in Jordan. Project activities include: (1) conducting comprehensive engineering surveys of the site; (2) undertaking consultation and ensuring the agreement of site stakeholders; and (3) developing detailed design plans for the placement and installation of radiation detection equipment at the site.

Expected results 

The expected outcome for this project is the delivery of detailed design plans for the placement and installation of radiation detection equipment at an airport facility in Jordan to Jordan’s Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission.
