Description

This project aims to advance the promotion, respect, and fulfilment of human rights and gender equality across the occupied Palestinian territory for the period of 2024 to 2028 (5 years). Using a holistic approach, it seeks to operationalize international standards within judicial systems and procedures in a manner that tangibly realizes human rights. This is done through scaled-up professionalization, judicial integration, use of e-justice solutions, quality legal education and evidence-based advocacy.

Expected results

The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) improved access to high-quality services relating to Palestinians legal, psychosocial, protection, and security needs; (2) enhanced sustainable, inclusive, gender responsive, quality social services and protection; (3) embraced societal and institutional behaviours and attitudes that uphold human rights, gender equality, and equity principles; and (4) strengthened women’s access to gender responsive and inclusive justice, security and protection services.
