Description 

The project supports the efforts of the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) to enhance the capacity of Ukrainian mine action institutions to implement effective and gender-responsive mine action operations, develop country-appropriate information management solutions, and lead efficient donor coordination platforms.

Expected results 

The expected outcomes of the project include: (1) enhanced gender-sensitive engagement of the Ukrainian National Mine Action Authorities (NMAA) in the multilateral fora and donor coordination pro-cesses; and (2) enhanced response by the Ukrainian National Mine Action Authorities to the diverse needs of women, girls, men and boys.
