Description 

This project aims to support the United Nations 2720 Gaza Mechanism, established under United Nations Security Council Resolution 2720. The UN 2720 Gaza Mechanism is a UN-led initiative designed to streamline, verify, and monitor all UN-led humanitarian aid delivery into Gaza. It seeks to support data sharing with humanitarian partners and ongoing coordination with stakeholders to enhance delivery capacity and transparency. Project activities include 1) recruiting and deploying monitors and coordinators across operational corridors; 2) procuring logistics and IT equipment; and (3) supporting the Jordanian Humanitarian Corridor.

Expected results 

The expected outcome of this project includes ensured priority access for the most critical humanitarian consignments to reach Gaza’s civilian population.
