Project profile — Support to UNRWA’s work on the humanitarian principle of neutrality

This project supports United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East’s (UNRWA’s) Action Plan in implementing the Colonna Report’s 50 recommendations. Implementing the recommendations will enhance UNRWA's neutrality mechanisms in eight areas, including: engagement with donors, governance, management and internal oversight structures, staff and behaviour, installations, education, staff unions, and strengthened partnerships with UN agencies.

The expected outcomes of this project include: improved UNRWA neutrality mechanisms through effective implementation of the Colonna report recommendations.
