Description 

This project supports the World Health Organization (WHO) early recovery plan in the occupied Palestinian territories with the aim to support expanding humanitarian assistance in Gaza. Project activity includes ensuring the continuity of humanitarian operations delivered by the United Nation as Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), particularly health care. It also supports ongoing relief efforts by strengthening critical healthcare services and infrastructure, while contributing to early recovery efforts.

Expected results 

The expected outcomes of of this project include: (1) enhanced delivery of an agile health emergency response while working to help bolster health system early recovery and longer-term resilience; and (2) saved lives, limited illness and mortality, and supported coordinated early recovery of the health system.
