Description 

The project aims to increase access for men, women, girls and boys to effective and equitable justice services provided by the Palestinian High Judicial Council (HJC) in the West Bank, by building within the HJC, sustainable capacities for strategic planning and operational management of its current and future system of real property facilities. Project activities include: (1) providing technical assistance to develop a policy framework including planning, quality control, environmental management, standard operating procedures and associated tools; and (2) providing specific material and equipment for maintenance to the Facilities Management Unit of the HJC.

Expected results 

The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) increased functionality of the facilities management system (by the Facilities Management Unit personnel) in the High Judicial Council (HJC) to effectively manage facilities in a sustainable manner and according to international standards; and (2) strengthened institutional policy framework and enabling environment for gender equality and gender parity (by HJC personnel) in HJC in the area of facility management.
